Since I moved to Copenhagen, I have been observing and collecting some of the elements that make up the identity of this city for me. They’re not iconic architecture. They’re ordinary details supposed to be hidden. Yet they jump out at me. Like these almost living tree-shaped pipes whose punctual flows must have animated more than one dinner date.

I fantasized a lot about what Copenhagen would be like. Then I came to appreciate that pipe dreams can sometimes come true. Just like a new relationship, I’m getting to know the city layer per layer and adore everything about it, including its darker corners. Though this honeymoon won’t last, I can somehow fix it on paper.
