Entrecasas

Entrecasas (“Between houses”) is the result of the commission of a friend. She asked me to paint what Lisbon is to me. With that purpose I went around the city looking for a place that represented my vision of the city. And I found this one among many others that showed how Lisbon is made of layers of pink, yellow and white. Buildings that rest on each other creating a laberinth of colour and old stoned streets where you can always find yourself in the sea and the sky. I think all of this could be summed up in the words of another friend: “There is no light like the light in Lisbon”.
