Alfama

Alfama is a very special neighborhood. It is the oldest hood in Lisbon and it smells like roasted sardins. It is a place full of life, history and contrast. In this place the touristic and the marginal sides of the city coexists in one of the most beautiful urban scenarios you can see. Its a place worth living. And thats why I felt it was also worth sharing a little shade of it in this illustration made in-situ with ink and watercolour.
